Sorry if any of this is wrong, but I'm not a heavy EZ Drummer user. There are more than 218 vacation rentals that are available in Fawn Creek. I see a Bleed Control on the "Snare B" channel that you can turn off, but Snare T will still be in the Overhead and Room channels. I do not know if there's anyway to defeat this. Only problem is though that the snare will still be present in the Overhead and Room channels. all other instruments will come through the main VI track. You snare should now come through that aux. "New Stereo Bundle > EzDrummer-1 EZ2" as the input Set all instruments except for "Snare T" and "Snare B" back to the "Trk 1" setting.Ĭlick the input column in the Track Overview for the Aux you just created and choose: This will renumber the outputs of the individual instruments. In the row of outputs, click the Kick assignment where you see "Trk 1" and then choose "Multichannel" from the bottom of the menu that pops up. I don't use EZ Drummer too much any more but setup isn't that hard. Then create an aux track and route the EZ Drummer's snare to that.Īlso, even if you were to use different instances like you suggested, a faster way to separate the snare drum notes is to open up the MIDI track containing your drum part, double click the snare not on the piano keyboard at the left thus selecting all snare hits in the entire track, then use the "Split Notes" command to CUT the snare notes and paste into a brand new MIDI track which you can name in the Split Notes dialog.
EZDRUMMER DIGITAL PERFORMER HOW TO
I was going to give a detailed post, but don't have time as I'd have to look into how to take the snare out of the overhead pair, but you should be able to go to EZ Drummer's mixer page and then assign the snare (top and bottom) to a different output. I'm sure there's an easier way to do this, but I always like to do things the hard way. Then you can put your slick reverb and EQ on the snare and treat the rest of the kit with less reverb. In the copied track, you erase everything except the snare notes, and route it to the new mono instance of EZ Drummer, where you can choose a snare from all the different kits. Then you find the snare hits, which are usually on that low D note, and erase them from the original track. The way I do it is, when I'm finished programming the MIDI, I copy it to a second MIDI track, and then in piano roll view, collapse the view so you can see the entire track from beginning to end. Uncle dunc wrote:If you need that slick snare sound, you may have to open a second instance of EZ drummer in mono and use it for snare only, routed to a new mono audio track in DP.
